Srinagar, May 8 (KNS):  A senior KAS officer and Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department, Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani has died due to Covid-19 at GMC Jammu, officials said.

He was admitted to GMC Jammu and where he succumbed to covid19 infection, an official told Kashmir news service.

He was presently Special Secretary Finance and held various important positions including DC Kulgam?. (KNS).
