Srinagar, Nov 27 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday said that Mehbooba Mufti was not kept under detention and said she was requested to cancel her visit to Pulwama due to security reasons.

Police in a tweet said PDP leader Ms Mehbooba Mufti is not under house arrest. She was requested to #postpone her visit to #Pulwama purely due to #security reasons. @JmuKmrPolice.

Earlier Mehbooba's daughter Iltija Mufti allegedly her mother has been kept under house detention and was not allowed to move from her residence (KNS)
