Srinagar, Dec 01 (KNS): Militant commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit was among two militants killed in an encounter in Qasbayar village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said here on Wednesday.

Inspector general of police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that militant commander of JeM Yasir Parray and a foreign militant Furqan were killed in the encounter. 

He said that Yasir was an IED expert and his killing was a major success for the forces.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel 

The IGP also said that both the militants were involved in several militant related crimes. 

Earlier, an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Qasbayar village. “In the ensuing encounter two militants were killed, while search operation was going on,” police said. (KNS)
