Srinagar, Aug 10(KNS):  Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement President, Javaid Mustafa Mir on tuesday condemned the killing of BJP Sarpanch and his wife in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Monday. 

In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service(KNS), Javaid described the incident as ''cowardice and shameful act'' and emphasised on the government to take more effective measures to contain such attacks and ensure that there are no such attacks in future.

on Monday as per police Lashkar-e-Tobia militants shot dead a Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), Sarpanch and his wife from Kulgam district at KP road in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.(KNS).
