Chaya seeks immediate permission from authorities for its reconstruction

Srinagar, Jan 23:(KNS) Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club ( J&KHC) has expressed grief over the fire incident of heritage hotel Highland Park in Gulmarg. 

Ticky Cottage 2 Suits and 4 double rooms of the Hotel were completely gutted in fire incident.

J&KHC Chairman Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya said he is saddened at the unfortunate fire Incident in which some part of the Highlands Park Gulmarg gutted.

Chaya while assuring full support from the J&KHC to the owner , urged the LG Administration, Secretary Tourism, Gulmarg Development Authority, to fast track the permission for the reconstruction of the gutted property.

He said Highland Park is one the prime properties in Gulmarg which has served the hospitality sector in the most professional manner for decades.

Secretary General J&KHC Tariq Rashid Ghani and President Gulmarg Chapter J&KHC Mukhtar Shah assured full support to property owner in these testing times and urged Gulmarg Development Authority to provide permission to the owner on priority basis.

All the members of J&KHC especially members from Gulmarg Chapeter expressed their sympathies and assured all possible support to the owner. (KNS)
