Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS) : Senior leader and legislator Mir Saifullah of Trigham on Saturday expressed confidence that the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir budget would be "people-friendly" and address public aspirations.
His remarks came after a pre-budget consultation meeting chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here.
"We have put forth our concerns and grievances, and the Chief Minister was gracious in listening to all of them," Saifullah told the news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).

"He has assured us that the upcoming budget will be both people-friendly and people-centric," he added.
Saifullah said he was hopeful that the budget would adequately address the needs and aspirations of the people.
The consultation meetings, aimed at gathering inputs from various sections for the budget formulation, saw participation from MLAs and stakeholders across the Kashmir valley. (KNS)
