Srinagar Oct 25 (KNS): Former J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir expressed profound grief over the passing away of veteran Shia Leader & Islamic Scholar Maulana Mohammad Abbas Ansari.
In his condolence message Ghulam Ahmad Mir paid rich tributes to Maulana Mohammad Abbass Ansari a spiritual Shia leader and prominent Islamic Scholar, terming the deceased an institution unto himself, a moderate and intellectual personality, who had a great knowledge on Islam Teachings & Socio-Political scenario of J&K.
It was very saddening to learn about the passing away of Maulana Saheb, who was known for his spirituality & religious teachings, Mir added and expressed heartfelt condolences to the family and followers of Maulana Saheb.
The services rendered by Maulana to society shall always be remembered, Mir said.(KNS)
