J&K Govt orders creation of 252 posts for establishment of SIA

 

 
Srinagar, June 21 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday ordered creation of 252 posts in different categories for the establishment of State Investigation Agency (SIA).
 
According to an order, issued by K&K home department, a copy of which lies Kashmir News Service (KNS) sanction was accorded for creation of 252 posts in different categories for establishment of SIA including creation of one post of Deputy Inspector General of Police.
 
Earlier, J&K Administrative Council had approved the establishment of State Investigation Agency (SIA) as the nodal agency to coordinate with Central probe agencies.

The Administrative Council had approved the creation of 252 posts in different categories including Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP), Superintendents of Police (SP), Deputy Director of Prosecution (DDP), Chief Prosecution Officers (CPO), Deputy Superintendents of Police (Dy.SP), Senior Prosecution Officers (Sr.PO), Inspectors, and Sub-Inspectors (SI) among others.
