Srinagar, Apr 05 (KNS): A delegation from J&K headed by J&K EJAC general secretary Syed Ghulam Rasool Geelani on Tuesday met Union Secretary Ministry of Labour and employment Sunil Barthwal.
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the delegation put forward long pending demands of temporary workers which includes implementation of minimum wages act and regularization policy.
The statement reads that Union Secretary gave them full assurance that minimum wages act will be implemented in J&K soon.
“Geelani was accompanied by TUCC India general secretary SP Tiwari Ji and other members of EJAC including Molvi Nazir, M Yousuf Wani, Barkat Ali, Karan Singh and Basharat Ali. (KNS)
