J&K crosses 200 mark, 23 test Covid19 positive today

Srinagar, April 10 (KNS): J&K today crossed 200 mark with 23 more samples tested positive for the Coronovirus. With this the total number of cases reached 207.

Total positive cases in J&K now 207.Jammu-39; Kashmir-168. Adetailed bulletin follows shortly," J&K Government Spokesperson Rohit Kansal tweeted.
Official told KNS that while 25 test reports came to be positive but included fresh samples of two already-positive cases.
According to the doctor's, out of 18 cases in Kashmir, 10 are said to from Kupwara and Baramulla districts.
The four fresh cases in Jammu are said to be contacts of a 61-year-old woman who died on April 8 and are all residents of Udhampur district.
Meanwhile DC Srinagar Shahid Iqbal Choudhary in a tweet said "8 Covid +ve in #Srinagar today sounds panicky, but it’s not. This is a classic "tracing success story": found a grp of non-locals visitors, acted fast, quarantined. 7/8 are from group, 8th their local contact. Please help report."(KNS)
