Says RSS resides in every area of Jammu, let them come to Kashmir

Jammu, Oct 21 (KNS): The National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday said that Jammu and Kashmir cannot have a peaceful dawn unless India holds talks with Pakistan as dialogue is the only solution to bring peace.

As per Kashmir News Service (KNS), addressing media at Jammu, he said that nobody can split Jammu and Kashmir and the enemies of communal brotherhood won’t succeed ever in dividing J&K.

Slamming the stringent policies of the Central Government, Farooq Abdullah said that politics of deception and hatred needs to be changed and “I appeal to everyone to shun hatred and keep the brotherhood alive.”

He said that unless and until both India and Pakistan won’t hold a dialogue, J&K can’t see any peaceful dawn. “These killings and hatred have shattered the lives of every citizen of both the nations.”

Hitting out at the RSS, he said that RSS workers reside in every area of Jammu and try to divide the people on the communal lines. “Let them come to Kashmir and face us. No slogans of RSS and BJP can split the brotherhood of J&K. No religion teaches hatred. Its the humans who spread hatred not the religion.”

"We must follow our religion in every path of life. Be it a Hindu, Sikh or Muslim, everyone should follow the religious teachings. Everyone is just indulged in unscrupulous grabbing of money,” he said.

Criticizing the remarks of former Governor of J&K, Satya Malik related to Roshni act, he said that he is the one who has been responsible for the abrogation of article 370. “His false promises have shattered the trust of the people of J&K and have split Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh into two parts.”

Slamming RSS he said that everyone comes to power but this politics of communal hatred should come to an end. “Stop playing beguile of hatred as it will only lead to destruction. There are people out there who are willing to fight against this hatred. Humanity still exists in every citizen of India and the people of every religion respect each other besides such conspiracies.”

Talking about the NC’s contribution to power projects of J&K he said: “I signed an agreement for the power projects in J&K for the ease and welfare of my people. The power projects which NC signed were proven significant for the educational upgradation, household works, development of factories etc.”

Abdullah said that only NC can be a saviour for the J&K in these uncertain times where politics of hatred has engulfed the entire country.

“NC won’t dissolve in any circumstances. We have always been standing for rights of the people of J&K and will continue to work to bring peace in J&K. No slogan of hatred can put an end to the brotherhood of our people,” he said.

He said that India’s honour lies in unification and communal brotherhood and he prays to Almighty that honour of India id restored soon. (KNS)
