Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNS): In a bid to bring banking services closer to the community, J&K Bank inaugurated a new branch in the Mawar area, on the outskirts of Tehsil Kalam Chakla.
The branch's inauguration, led by Bank Zonal Head Imtiaz Ahmed and attended by Cluster Head Shadab Ahmed, drew a crowd of customers, residents, and bank officials.
Zonal Head Imtiaz Ahmed emphasized the bank's commitment to fostering economic development in the operational regions, stating, "This branch is established for the economic well-being of the people in Khambar and adjoining areas. With modern facilities, it will actively contribute to our customers' financial wellness and educate the public about tailored banking services."
Addressing the staff in Khambar, Ahmed urged excellence in customer service and emphasized educating residents about government employment programs and social security schemes for low-income groups.
The ceremony, attended by community leaders, including BDC Mawar Tahir Ahmed Mir and President of the Fruit Association Raja Akbar, acknowledged the tireless efforts of Manager Abdul Majeed in fulfilling this longstanding demand.(KNS).
