J&K Bank PRO says technical snag will be fixed ‘soon’

Kupwara, Jan 19 (KNS): Automatic Teller Machine of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Qalamabad area of Kupwara district is lying defunct for the last ten days, thereby making people suffer immensely, locals said here on Wednesday.

Locals told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the ATM is lying defunct for the last 10 years after developing some technical snag even as the concerned authorities have been informed several times.

They said that the bank authorities have failed to repair the ATM, which is causing huge inconvenience to the people of the area. 

They said that this ATM caters to various areas including Qalamabad, Audoora, Batagund, Hangah etc.

Meanwhile, the locals urged the higher authorities to look into the matter so that people can heave a sigh of relief.

When contacted, J&K Bank PRO said that the concerned bank administration has already taken cognisance of the matter and technical snag will be fixed soon. (KNS)
