Delhi, April 21:(KNS) Renowned Islamic Scholar and peace activist Maulana Wahiduddin Khan passes away by late night in Delhi on Wednesday. The 96-year-old scholar had tested positive for COVID-19 last week and was in ICU at Apollo Hospital in the national capital.
This news was disclosed by son, Dr Saniyasnain Khan on official Facebook account of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan.
It reads, as Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan.
He has left us as one big family to stay united and work for the cause of dawah. Please do dua.
