Srinagar  Dec 30 (KNS):  Senior Political Leader and Former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Friday visited Tullamulla area of Ganderbal wherein residential houses belonging to Ab Rashid Da, Bilal Ahmad Dar and Habibullah Dar sons of Gull Dar gutted in a fire incident during the night.


According to a statement issued here, Mr Jabbar along with some colleagues visited the spot to take stock of the damages caused due to the unfortunate incident.

Sheikh expressed his grief over this tragic incident. 

“My heart goes out to the families who have suffered due to this fire incident. I will ensure that the victims get instant relief and compensation so that they will be able to rebuild what they have lost," Jabbar said.

On this occasion, he met the locals and gave a patient hearing to the locals who explained to him about the fire incident and gave him details about the victims.

While assessing the situation and hearing the suffererers on the spot, Sheikh Ishfaq rang Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal of urging him to provide immediate relief followed by compensation to the fire victims.

Jabbar assured the fire victims all his support in the rehabilitation process.

DDC Wakura Mohd Ashraf, Advocate Mudasir, Sabir Ayoub, Sheikh Shafat, Reyaz Bhat, Bila Bhat and others were also present on the occasion.

Later Ishfaq Jabbar visited Theeru, Duderhama, Saloora and Batwina for condolences. (KNS)
