Srinagar October 20 (KNS): To give prime-time entertainment, the 2nd edition of Positive Kashmir invitational Football Championship 2022 is underway at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Srinagar. Dozens of teams from different corners of valley are participating in competition to prove their mettle.

The 2nd edition of Positive Kashmir invitational Football Championship 2022 being played at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Srinagar saw an opening clash between Iqbal sports fc & Court Road fc Srinagar.

In the first half of the match Salim of Iqbal Sports scored a goal after they got a penalty kick and in the second half Iqbal Sports dominated the game and scored two more goals through Noveen Singh and Umee.In the last ten minutes of the game Court Road Fc scored a goal through their substitute player Adnan Nabi. Anas of Iqbal Sports was adjudged as Player of the Match and the award was given by Bashir Ahmad Malik.

With this win Iqbal sports fc to the second round of the championship and the Court Road fc  had to face the early elimination.

As per the fixture issued by the organisers, Ali Jana Fc will face SWFC Ushkura on 21st Oct Friday at 6:30pm.

The tournament is being organised by the Positive Kashmir (NGO) .
