Interactive session on 'The Bane of Drug Addiction in Kashmir' held in Budgam

Srinagar, June 11 (KNS): An interactive session on “The Bane of Drug Menace in Kashmir” was organised by the Central Government Pensioners Welfare Association (Kashmir), in collaboration with Foundation World School, Mamat in Budgam district on Saturday.

 
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the participants included the members of the association led by Mohammad Shafi Pandit, Former Chairman, J&K PSC, president CGPWA (K), members of the governing body of Foundation World School, headed by Syed Arshad Hussain, teaching and non-teaching staff of the school headed by Umar Sheriff, executive principal and a large number of students. 
 
The statement reads that the technical talk was given by Dr Muzaffar Khan, Clinical Psychologist, and the key note address was given by Mr M S Pandit, President, CGPWA (K).
 
The participants were welcomed by the Executive Principal and vote of thanks was given by Secretary CGPWA (K), ending with a poem in Kashmir on the subject composed by him. (KNS)
