Innocents being killed; terrorism on rise in J&K: Dr Farooq Abdullah on Rajouri killings

Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): National Conference president and MP, Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Monday said it is very unfortunate that innocent civilians are being killed and terrorism is on rise in J&K.


"Very sad that innocent civilians are being killed while as terrorism activities are increasing with the passing of every day in J&K", Dr. Farooq Abdullah was replying over killings of civilians in Rajouri district of J&K in which four civilians killed and 7 others were injured on Sunday evening.

Expressing sad over the killings the NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah said that killing innocents is the outcome of hatred being spread in the country and added, "Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) should find a solution to prevent such incidents in future".

He said the country can never move forward by dividing people, and added, "The unity is imperative for peace, progress and development in the region".

He said there is a need to talk to find out a viable solution for the larger interest of country. "Everyone has kept grave silence. No one is coming forward to talk. Hindustan (India) is ours. The government should come up with a tangible solution", he added. (KNS)
