Indian Army Extends Timely Assistance in Two Separate Incidents in Bandipora

 Bandipora, March 16 (KNS) : Demonstrating prompt response and commitment to public welfare, the Indian Army extended timely assistance in two separate incidents in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on monday, helping accident victims and rescuing a stranded ambulance.

 
In the first incident, a road accident occurred at around 3:30 PM near Malangam village when a white Maruti Suzuki Alto (JK15B-3060) belonging to Mushtaq Ahmed of Malangam skidded off the road due to slippery conditions and overturned.
 
Army troops present in the vicinity rushed to the spot immediately, secured the area, and evacuated the occupants from the vehicle. Mushtaq Ahmed and Manzoor Ahmed, who were travelling from Bandipora to Malangam, were provided first aid on the spot by Army personnel. In another incident earlier in the day, at around 2:30 PM, an ambulance from the Borderless World Foundation (NGO) got stuck in mud near the roadside in Aloosa village while travelling in the area. Troops of the Wular Battalion quickly responded and reached the location to assist.
 
After assessing the situation, a JCB was arranged locally in coordination with the civil administration to rescue the stranded vehicle. With the combined efforts of the Army personnel and the machine, the ambulance was safely pulled out and allowed to continue its movement.
 
The timely intervention by the Indian Army in both incidents ensured quick relief to civilians and highlighted the Army’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance and support to the local population in the region. (KNS)
