After devastating terror camps and airbases, PM Modi redefines India’s stance: No terror, no talks, no tolerance.

New Delhi, May 12 (KNS): In a historic address to the nation via videoconference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the unwavering courage of India’s armed forces, intelligence agencies, and scientific community, highlighting the country’s resilience and might in the wake of recent provocations. He extended heartfelt gratitude on behalf of every Indian citizen for their exemplary service during Operation Sindoor, a decisive counterterrorism operation that reshaped the security landscape in the region.

Condemning the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which shocked the nation and the world, the Prime Minister described it as a heinous act of terror, where innocent civilians were brutally targeted based on their faith. Expressing profound anguish, he underscored how the entire nation, across communities and political affiliations, stood united in demanding swift and strong action against terrorism.

Operation Sindoor, Modi emphasized, was more than a military operation—it was a national pledge for justice. On May 6-7, the Indian armed forces executed precise, high-impact strikes on terrorist hideouts and training camps deep inside Pakistan, delivering a crushing blow to terror networks long sheltered by the Pakistani state. Strategic locations such as Bahawalpur and Muridke, known global terror hubs, were dismantled, with over 100 dangerous terrorists—including several key masterminds—neutralized.

“Operation Sindoor is not just a name, but an embodiment of the emotions and resolve of 140 crore Indians,” said Modi, declaring that India's message to the world was clear: no provocation against the dignity of Indian citizens will go unanswered.

The Prime Minister detailed how Pakistan, reeling from India’s decisive strikes, resorted to desperate retaliatory actions, targeting civilian infrastructure, places of worship, and military installations. However, India’s advanced air defense systems effectively neutralized these threats, while its counterstrikes severely damaged Pakistani airbases and critical terror infrastructure.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWithin days, a cornered Pakistan sought de-escalation, reaching out to India’s DGMO on May 10, promising a halt to both terrorist activity and military aggression.

Though India agreed to temporarily suspend its operations, Modi made it unequivocally clear that this was not an end, but a tactical pause. India would continue to monitor every development closely and respond with decisive action if provoked.

The Prime Minister also announced a recalibrated national security doctrine, built on three uncompromising pillars:

Decisive Retaliation against any terrorist attack on Indian soil.

Zero Tolerance for Nuclear Blackmail, refusing to be deterred by nuclear threats.

No Distinction Between Terror Sponsors and Terrorists, holding both terror groups and the governments sheltering them equally accountable.

Reaffirming India’s commitment to peace through strength, Modi pointed out that this operation showcased the remarkable effectiveness of Made in India defense technology, marking India’s emergence as a force in 21st-century warfare.

In a profound message to the global community, the Prime Minister declared that terror and talks cannot coexist, nor can terror and trade run parallel, reiterating India’s position that any dialogue with Pakistan will center exclusively on the issue of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.

Concluding his address on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, Modi invoked the teachings of Lord Buddha, stating that the path to peace must be fortified by strength. He reaffirmed India’s resolve to uphold national security, unity, and the dignity of every citizen, envisioning a future where every Indian can live with pride in a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).(KNS)
