India hit nine Pakistan targets during Operation Sindoor, missed none: NSA Doval

Chennai, July 11(KNS): National Security Advisor Ajit Doval said India carried out precise strikes on nine terror targets inside Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. He said the operation lasted only 23 minutes and every target was hit.

Speaking at the 62nd convocation of IIT Madras, Doval said the operation was launched after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which left 26 people dead. He said the strikes began on May 7 and ended on May 10 following an understanding between both sides to halt military activity.

He said, “We selected nine terrorist targets. These were not near the border, they were inside Pakistan. All of them were hit. None were missed.” He added that no civilian or unintended site was affected.

Doval said the foreign media had reported damage on the Indian side, but satellite images showed otherwise. He said, “They wrote what they wanted. I ask, show one image of damage in India—just one broken glass pane.” He added that images from 13 Pakistani air bases taken before and after May 10 revealed the real impact.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He said the operation used Indian-made weapons, including the BrahMos missile. “We are proud of how much indigenous technology was used,” he said.

Doval also spoke about India's development of 5G technology. He said, “The Chinese spent 12 years and $300 billion. We didn’t have that kind of time or money.” He said the government worked with IIT Madras and the private sector to build a trusted 5G system. “Today, India’s 5G is completely indigenous,” he said.

Padma Subrahmanyam, speaking at the same event, said the success of Operation Sindoor reflected the discipline and duty described in the Bhagavad Gita. She said, “Our jawans are our national guardian angels.”

During the convocation, 3,227 students received their degrees. IIT Madras also announced that it had incubated over 100 deep-tech startups and filed more than 400 patents during 2024–25.(KNS).
