Srinagar, Sept 4 (KNS): Imam Hussain (A.S) while showing Muawiya as a usurper and tyrant allayed the flames of disunity; saved the Islamic society from total annihilation and safeguarded the rights of the Muslims and it can be rightly said that the biggest achievement was the discernment of the truth from falsehood while delivering a sermon during Majilis e Hussaini (AS) at Nussu (Isganderpora) today President All J&K Shia Association Imran Reza Ansari said that neither truth could be introduced as lowliness and abject nor falsehood could be pretended to be right.
Imran Reza Said that Imam Hussain (AS), through his behaviour and action made the people realise that Muawiya is the pillar of falsehood, deceit and treachery while the right of Khilafat belonged to the true Awsiya of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH). He said that they never wanted to rule over the people by resorting to force, bribery and deceit and the same matter was pursued during the events of Kerbala.
Molvi Ansari threw more light on the life and teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) and called on the people to follow the path and teachings of Islam. While paying glowing tributes to the Martyrs of Karbala, Ansari said the martyrs of Karbala have set an example before the people and their sacrifices will inspire forever. He also appealed to the Muslims Ummah to stand firm against divisive and treacherous forces and follow Uswah of Ahle Bait (SA) for achievable life goals on the path of truth and tranquillity. He was accompanied by All JK Shia Association General Secretary Abid Hussain Ansari in todays program.(KNS)
