Srinagar, June 27 (KNS): Inspector general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar on Monday held a final security review meeting regarding Amarnath Yatra in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the meeting was attended by GOC Victor Force, IG CRPF, DIGs of BSF, ITBP, CRPF and JKP, besides all districts’ SSPs and COs of south Kashmir.
He said that real threats and counter measures being taken by police and security were reviewed.
Amarnath Yatra is going to start from June 30 this year amid heightened security measures. (KNS)
