Srinagar, October 4 (KNS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah kicked started his Mission J&K by meeting delegations of Gujjar-Bakarwal, Rajput, Pahari, and Sikh communities in Jammu including those associated with NC and PDP.
Reports informed Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Tazeem Dar PDP District President Rajouri and Senior NC Leader Shafqat Mir also thanked Amit Shah for taking Care of Pahari Tribal Community.
Top sources privy to the development said both leaders assured HM Amit Shah that if Modi government grants ST Status to Paharis, they will join BJP.
Shah is on a two day During his visit to the Union Territory.
Shah will pay obeisance at the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. He will lay the foundation stone for many developmental works including Jammu Convention Complex and is scheduled to address a rally in Rajouri and Baramulla. (KNS)
