ICDS supervisors without salaries, appeals LG to intervene

Srinagar, Dec 04 (KNS): The Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) Supervisors of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday said it has been more than six months they are without salaries in times of covid 19 pandemic and appealed LG Sinha to look into the matter.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a group of ICDS supervisors told that despite performing their duties regularly, authorities have not released their salaries.

They said they are facing immense hardships due to lack of salaries from last six months and authorities are watching our problems as mute spectator.

The Supervisors said we too have families to feed and childers to educate and the regular halt of salaries are effecting the education of our children.

They alleged that earlier officials of ICDS assured their pending salaries will be released but however nothing has been done so far to release our salaries.

They appealed Lieutenant Governor Monoj Sinha to intervene in the matter at an earliest.

Meanwhile DG ICDS Tariq Ali didn't respond to calls made by this office. (KNS)
