Hot weather conditions to continue in Kashmir: Sonam Lotus

Srinagar, July 12(KNS): Director Meteorological Department (MeT), Sonam Lotus today said that hot weather conditions to continue in Kashmir.
Lotus told KNS that valley continues to sizzle from may days and there is respite from the hot weather conditions.
According to the MeT Department, Srinagar on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 32.7 degrees Celsius which is 3 degrees above the normal.
Speaking to KNS, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh have recorded more than 50 percent deficit rainfall during last 40 days.
" There is no forecast of heavy rainfall in comic days, all the areas will only witness shower," he told KNS.

According to MeT department, J&K has recorded 49 per cent, Leh 53 per cent and Kargil 80 per cent deficit rainfall during the last 40 days.  (KNS)
