Home Minister's Baramulla rally: Shops open, traffic plying normally across Kashmir

Srinagar, October 5 (KNS): Thousands of people have reached Baramulla venue where Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address a gathering.

Reports informed KNS that venue of fully jam packed and people are waiting for the Home Minister's arrival.

"Almost all seats are occupied by the people, however people can still be seen in long queues entering venue after propper security check," locals said.

Meanwhile traffic is plying normally across the Kashmir and shops are open particularly in Srinagar City.

A resident of Srinagar said that he saw it first time that shops in Srinagar are open and traffic is plying normally when a senior Leader from Center is visiting Kashmir.

However he added that mobile security nakas have increased in Srinagar today and vehicles are being searched on every road.
Notably, the HM is on a three-day tour of J&K starting Monday. On Tuesday, he visited Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine at Katra and also addressed a public rally in Rajouri following which he reached Srinagar yesterday.(KNS).
