Srinagar, Nov 01 (KNS): Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Front (J&KPDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammed Yaseen on Monday in a statement lashed out at Senior BJP Leader from Jammu for his controversial and anti-Muslim statement which has gone viral on social media.

The PDF Chairman in a statement said that there is no place for such people in the country and they are always there to disturb peace in India.

“They are dividing people. They want to disturb peace and brotherhood. We have to maintain peace than disturbing it,” he said.

Reacting to the recent row following India Pakistan T20 world cup he said after all children are children and politicizing cricket match is very unfortunate. We should not link cricket with politics and do not create division out of it.

“He said people like him (who gave the statement) should be booked under law under law and FIR should be registered against him so that such speeches are not repeated in future,” he said.

He said his speech is hurting the sentiments of people and is aimed to create disorder in the society. He appealed the UT Administration and Prime Minister, Union Minister and central leadership to take strict action against him.

“The government should take strict action against such elements who are issuing such statements and are disturbing peace,” he said. (KNS)
