Hajin 12 March (KNS): Residents of Hajin and it's adjoining areas today demanded drainage system in the area so that the area is inundated with even moderate showers.

 Reports reaching  to KNS said  that water has entered in many house in Hajin and Shahgund due to the lack of drainage system in the area .

"We once again demand permanent solution to the water logging in the area so we can feel some relief "
Meanwhile reports reaching KNS from   Watrina Bandipora said that lawn walls of few residential houses have collapsed due to the rainfall, however there are no reports of human loss in the incident. 

Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais said, a SDRF team has been constituted and deputed to access the damage caused due to the landslide in the area.
Regarding water logging in Hajin area, he said, " our teams led by Tehsildar is on spot and we have pressed dewatering pumps  into the services "

Mean while DDC member Bandipora A  Firdosa Akthar told KNS that  heavy rains caused extensive damage to several boundary walls and portions of house in waterina area of Bandipora  and asked the district administration to keep SDRF teams on stand by to meet any exigency arising due to continuous  rains (.KNS)
