Sopore March 13 (KNS): Suspected militants hurled a grenade at police chowki Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. 

An official told news agency KNS that the attact took place in the afternoon and no damage was reported.  

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sopore, Javaid Iqbal told KNS that grenade was lobbed on Police post, resulting very little scratches to a security personnel.

Local sources said that soon after the attack, forces launched a search operation in the area to nab the attackers. (KNS)
