Tral, May 19 (KNS):  Puncturing the tall claims of the Government to ensure efficient administration in J&K, Government Degree College Tral is functioning without the Principal from last three months.

 

The locals of Tral told KNS that in last three years the college has been a victim of official apathy as all Principal's posted in Tral Degree college had a limited tenure.

 

Notably, the Govt. Degree College Tral coll bagged first position in NSS at the National Level in 2010. The locals said that due to ignorance of Government, the said College is loosing it's foothold on the graph of excellence.

 

"The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college have been deprived of their  salaries from last three months," a faculty at the College on the condition of anonymity told KNS and added, "They had to spend Eid without salaries and had to burrow money from others".

 

The locals however appealed to the LG administration to depute a Principal to the Degree College Tral at the earliest who can again bring back the lost vibrancy of the college. (KNS)
