Bandipora, Dec 04 (KNS): The speakers at the 2nd annual commemoration day of GMS Onagam under in North Kashmir's Bandipora district called upon the teachers and parents to work jointly to impart quality and morally spirited education to the students enrolled in government schools. 

Speakers, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS), highlighted the expected role of teachers to work with sense of responsibility for contributing more professionally for the development and betterment of the society.

Chief education officer Bandipora, Abdul ur Rab Shaad appreciated the teaching staff for organizing such events in the school. 

He urged upon the parents present on the occasion to coordinate with teachers for imparting quality and morally spirited education to their children. 

He said that the institution has contributed immensely to inculcate high moral values amongst its pass outs and is producing students with high learning levels with teachers serious towards their duties. 

He also commended head of the school Javaid Jawad for bringing about positive changes in the overall administrative and pedagogical functioning of the school.

Veteran teacher, Mohammad Yousuf Sofi, who was guest of honour, advised teachers and administrators to work for the betterment of students.

Quoting verses from Holy Quran, Sofi said that to attain eternal bliss the teachers and administrators need to focus on their jobs seriously with professional acumen.

Headmaster of the school, Javaid Jawad informed that during the past three years the student enrolment of the institution has doubled, while as 45 new students have enrolled themselves in the school during the last couple of days. (KNS)
