GHSS Handwara inaugurated online Application for students

Handwara, June 19 (KNS): Government Girls Higher Secondary school Handwara on Friday launched an online application for students who are enrolled at GHSS.
Due to Noval Corona virus the world is under lockdown, business units, shops, schools and colleges have been shutdown to avoid the virus. The government is looking for alternatives to overcome the loss in education sector. The online classes have been put up in place to overcome the loss. On June 18 the BHSS Handwara have launched an online application to conduct assessments.
The initiative has been inaugurated in presence of CEO Kupwara , Dy CEO Handwara , principal GHS and principals from other schools. There are around 1300 students enrolled in the GHS and it will be a major relief for them to get the assessments online.
They said that from tomorrow they will conduct the online exams of students.
On the occasion, the CEO said the initiative will help the students to avoid the loss and it will also help them sit in exams without going out and getting exposed to Covid19.
The patents have thanked the administration for this needful step and also have expressed concern as it is not easy to access the application while have low speed internet.
talking to KNS a parents said the students enrolled in the institution comes from different families and do not have smart phones. The government have find an alternative which is accessible to all, he said.
On this occasion a library has been opened, where the students from financially weak families can avail the books. (KNS)
