G20 incredible opportunity for 13 million people of J&K to display their culture: LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar, May 21 (KNS): As tomorrow marks the beginning of the highly anticipated G20 Meeting, Jammu Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday termed it an incredible opportunity for the 13 million people of UT, saying that they can proudly display their unique culture, heritage, tourism attractions, and warm hospitality. 


He also said that the G20 consists of countries that make up a significant portion of the world's economy, trade, and population. Their gathering is expected to promote the idea of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which means "the world is one family," and accelerates the socio-economic progress of Jammu and Kashmir. "Everyone is encouraged to be part of this unforgettable event," the LG said.

"With all eyes on the region, J&K's beautiful culture, stunning landscapes, and amazing tourism opportunities will captivate international delegates and visitors," he said, adding that this event will bring in more tourists, investments, and trade, creating new opportunities for growth and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He further said that the G20 Meeting is an extraordinary chance for Jammu and Kashmir to connect with the world, exchange cultures, and speed up development. "As the global community focuses on this remarkable place, its potential as a top destination and its contributions to the goals of the G20 will have a lasting impact on the region's future," he added.(KNS).
