Srinagar Nov 06:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Sunday condemned the killing of Policeman by unidentified gunmen in strongest words.

Ghulam Ahmad Mir has expressed anguish over the loss of Policeman Touseef Ahmad, who was attacked by unidentified gunmen in Batamalo area of Srinagar District.

Mir termed the attack as shameful and mindless on the part of gunmen and said such incidents are highly condemnable and unacceptable in a civilized society.

I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn about the killing of Touseef Ahmad,Mir added and conveyed deepest condolences bereaved family and prayed for their courage to bear the irreparable loss.

JKPCC President also expressed serious concern over the deteriorating security situation and termed the attacks on Policemen and Civilians as matter of grave concern, while emphasizing the Govt to take effective measures to deal with the situation to end the bloodshed. (KNS)
