Srinagar, Jan 13 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Thursday greeted people on Lohri & Makar Sankranti. 

In his message, JKPCC President said Lohri (festival of harvest) is a unique occasion, reflecting multiplicity and age-old tradition of togetherness.

"I send best wishes to people on this occasion ad pray for their wellbeing," JKPCC President added and hoped that the occasion will be the harbinger of good health and prosperity of the people.

"Festivals shall continue to remain important part of our unique culture while providing opportunities to intermingle and exchange ideas with each other," Mir observed. (KNS)
