Srinagar Jan 25 (KNS). The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Tuesday greeted Nation on the eve of 73rd Republic Day.
In his message, JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir said on this Day (Jan 26) the Constitution of India came into existence in 1950 and was approved by the Indian constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, subsequently came into effect one year later on January 26,1950.
Mir said this day reminds the significance of the Constitution which stands guarantee to equal rights to every citizen living in the country while laying down powers, fundamental rights and directive principle of the Govt of India and the citizens.
Nation was guided by the Constitution, which reflects its beauty and uniqueness, it should be the paramount for every citizen irrespective of caste or colour to safeguard the Constitution as that will be the best way to celebrate the Republic Day, JKPCC President added and laid emphasize over thwarting the forces inimical to Constitution of India.(KNS)
