Jammu Mar 7 (KNS): Former J&K Pradesh Congress Committee President and AICC Observer Ghulam Ahmad Mir Tuesday extended sincere greetings to people on the occasion of Holi & Shab E Barat and prayed for their well being of people.
Ghulam Ahmad Mir termed Shab e Barat a very auspicious night in which people pray and seek forgiveness from the Almighty Allah. This night provides opportunities to self-introspect and adopt corrective measures to purify our souls , Mir added and said the night auspicious is bound to lead the people to the path of truthfulness and righteousness. May Almighty address all the problems and hardships of people irrespective of their colour or religion.
Mir also termed Holi a unique festival symbolizing the unique culture of friendship and harmony in the country and wished a very happy and prosperous Holi to people of the country in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular.
Former JKPCC hoped that both Shab E Barat and Holi would usher in an era of prosperity and happiness while bringing smiles on the faces of people of J&K, who have gone through tremendous hardships in one way or the other. (KNS)
