G.A. Mir attends inaugural function of Gurudwara (Zaldora)  describes communal harmony, diversity  unique identity of J&K  


Srinagar August 19:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President and Former Minister G.A. Mir today attended the inaugural function of newly constructed Gurdwara
He was accompanied by General Secretary Sdr. Surinder Singh Channi and other party leaders.
JKPCC President G.A. Mir visited Zaldoora in Anantnag District today and attended the inaugural function of reconstructed Gurdwara and also participated in Kirtan.
On this occasion the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Zaldora honored G.A. Mir.
It was very happy moment for me to be here on this pious occasion, G.A. Mir said and hoped that the occasion will be the harbinger of prosperity and inclusive development of people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Mir termed the occasion as the manifestation of diversity, age old tradition of communal harmony and hoped that the occasion will further strengthen the bonds of unity among the people, who have always treaded the path of togetherness and brotherhood, he said.
I hope the auspicious occasion (inaugural function) will usher in an era of peace, stability, besides putting an end to the Covid 19 crisis, which has badly affected the people in every respect, PCC President added.
JKPCC President also hailed the Sikh Community and said despite the small area (Zaldoora), the Sikh brethren of the area worked hard and ensured reconstruction of Gurduwara, he said.
General Secretary JKPCC Sdr. Surinder Singh Channi who was present on occasion, prayed for peace and stability in J&K, hoping that the occasion will bring smile on the faces of people.
President Tirath Singh, Surinder Singh Vice President, Deedar Singh Chairman and Raikhpal Sigh were present in inaugural function of the Gurdwara.  (KNS)
