Srinagar, Mar 29 (KNS): Former Minister and former legislator from Kupwara, Ghulam Qadir Mir has passed away on the night intervening night of Monday and Tuesday at his residence in Friends Enclave Srinagar.
Family sources while confirming the demise of Mir, said that his body is being taken to Lone Harie village of Kupwara where he will be laid to rest.
They said that Namaz-e-Jinazah (Funeral Prayers) of the deceased will be held today at 5:30 PM at their ancestral graveyard in Lone Harria village.
“Fateha Khawani of the deceased will be held on 4th day, 1st April at the ancestral residence of the deceased in Kupwara,” they informed. (KNS)
