‌ Baramulla December 17:(KNS) Jhelum Valley Forest Division Baramulla organized plantation programme under "Green J&K drive" in collaboration with DLSA and Govt medical College Baramulla in the premises of said prestigeous institution. The programme was kick started by Dr. Syed Masood Medical superintendent GMC Baramulla, Secretary District Legal sevices Mr Faizan ul Haq Iqbal, Divisional Forest Officer J V Forest Division Baramulla Mr Pervaiz Ahmad Wani. ‌In Another programme seminar on clean village -Green village in collaboration with Elite Welfare research organization was held, during which DFO JV FOREST Division Baramulla laid stress on mitigation measures to be taken for solid waste Management and importance of clean and green environment, urged participants/stack holders to prohabit the use of non-biodegradable material.
‌Besides a departmental training on use of GPS in forestry and allied sector was imparted to forest front line staff at Divisional office complex JV Forest Baramulla .On this occasion DFO JV FOREST DIVISION BARAMULLA Mr. Pervaiz Ahmad Wani deliberated on use of modern tools and technology (GPS) in forestry and allied works to achieve desired goals in time bound manner.(KNS)
