Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Rouf Bhat on Monday said that For 70 years Kashmir has only seen bloodshed.

As per Kashmir News Service (KNS), Bhat said that the Kashmir issue should be resolved along with the restoration of article 370 and 35A. People of Kashmir are not with violence, they only want peace with dignity and honour.

He said that “we believe that Kashmir issue is not a military issue but rather a political issue. The issue should be solved politically by peaceful talks so that the bloodshed would come to an end. Everyday killings are witnessed in Kashmir valley be of youth or police or army or CRPF.

Besides he said that PAGD had decided to hold a peaceful protest against the unconstitutional decisions following which the leaders of PAGD were illegally detained.

He maintained that PDP wants to bring back peace in the valley besides solving the Kashmir issue. The basic rights of people of J&K should be restored with dignity. (KNS)
