Srinager, July 13(KNS): The Ist Edition of Professional League 2021 In the ongoing Professional League Football Tournamnet 2021 today the 13th of July two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.
The Ist Match was played between Real Kashmir FC and SCFA. It was a one sided affair, Real Kashmir FC dominated the show and defeated SCFA by 5 goals to one. The man of the match was declared Sahil Khursheed of RKFC.
The second match of the Professional League was played between J&K Bank XI & Hyderya Sports FC. Both the teams right from the start of the match exhibited quality Football which kept the spectators spell bound. Their tactical play enthralled the audience.
The match was played in flood lights which added extra charm to the game and every movement was enjoyed by the spectators. Hyderya Sports Club made a superb move but failed to convert it into goal in 30th minut of First half.
The Ist Half ended with a goalless draw. In the 55th minut of the match J&K Bank Xi took the lead from a superb goal scored by Akif . In the 75th minute of the match J&K Bank made a move and the cross from Adnan & Akif made no mistake by converting another goal through a splendid header and consolidated their lead.
In the 80th minute of the match Hyderya Sports made a counter attach and scored the First goal through Shahnawaz Bashir. Immediately the Bank players made a counter offensive and Akaif made no mistake in converting another goal. Aakif of J&K Bank scored the first hatrick of the tournament.
Akif scored 4th goal for his team in the dying movement of the match & Prem Kumar of J&K Bank XI scored 5th goal in the last movement of the match for his J&K Bank team. Thus J&K Bank XI defeated Hyderya Sports by 5 goals to one.
Mr Aakif jave of J&K Bank was declared man of the match.
Before the start of the match the 8 teams of the Professional League were introduced to Shri Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary YOUTH Service and Sports. He interected with the players and assured them that the Govt. Is doing everything possible for the development of Sports in nook and Corner of the UT.
The Govt. Is concerned about the welfare of the players and the development of Sports which involves budding youth in different sports activities and for their fitness and I think this is the platform which will keep them away from drug mence and other social evels and utilize their energy in a proper direction, He said.
Among others who were present on the occasion were MADAM Nuzhat Gul, Secretary JKSC, MOHAMMAD Ashraf, Special Secretary YSS, DR Zaffer Iqbal, Chief Account Officer, JKSC, Madam Nuzhat Ara, DSO JKSC, Z.A thakur, President JKFA and other Officials of JKFA & JKSC.
While speaking on the occasion Madam Nuzhat Gul interected with Shaheen Sports Jammu players and appreciated their efforts to raise Professional Club and assured them all Possible assistance which included their Boarding , Lodging , Refreshments & Transportation under JKSC norms. The players of Shaheen Fc thanked the Secretary for this kind gesture.
Tomorrow two matches will be played the first match at 4:00 pm will be played between Shaheen FC Jammu & Kashmir AvengerFC & 2nd Match will be played between Lonestar KFC & Downtown Hero's FC at 6:30 under flood lights.
