Srinagar, Dec 15 (KNS) : Atleast five residential houses were gutted in a fire mishap here at Mansoor Colony area of Bemina in Srinagar on Thursday, leaving several families shelterless and causing huge loss of property.
An official told the Kashmir News Service (KNS), that fire emanated from one of the residential houses and later engulfed the nearby residential structures.
"Following the incident, fire fighters rushed to the spot and after putting in hard efforts, they controlled the fire from spreading further. However five houses were damaged in the massive blaze, " he said, adding that the property worth lacs of rupees was completely gutted in the mishap.
In the incident, the official said that a minor boy sustained injures who was shifted to hospital for treatment while police have taken cognizance of the incident.(KNS).
