Handwara March 20 (KNS): A massive fire broke out in the double story shop at Harveth Village of Krlagund Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on late night Thursday.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the fire erupted in the doublestory shop containg eatables, following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot, an official informed.
The police party Kralgund also rushed to the spot to render help in dousing flames.
Efforts are on to control the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
The owner of the shop has been identified as, Mohammad Hayat Hajam resident of Harveth Kralgund.(KNS)
