Firdous Dramatic Club and Kashmir Tehalka Host Annual Appreciation Awards Event

 Srinagar, Oct 16(KNS): The Firdous Dramatic Club and Kashmir Tehalka came together to organize their much-anticipated annual appreciation award function at Tagore Hall in Srinagar.

The event was a grand celebration of the achievements of individuals from various departments who have made significant contributions to their respective fields.

The organizers expressed that the primary objective behind hosting such an event is to recognize and motivate individuals who are at the forefront of their respective domains. The honorees included distinguished professionals from fields such as medicine, education, arts, journalism, and other esteemed members from various departments.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Chairman Haj and Auqaf Jammu and Kashmir, as well as DDC Chairman Baramulla, Safeena Beigh. The distinguished event also saw the presence of notable figures like Programme Executive Shaheerben Maqsood Ahmad, Saqib Murtaza Tehsildar Pattan, and Chief Editor of KNS, Mohammad Aslam, who were the Guests of Honour.

Additionally, Tehsildar Charieshareef Nisar Ahmad, ADC Baramulla Kupwara Reema Gazala Khateeb, and ADC Shopian Pulwama, Humeera Yousuf Shawl and Syed Farhad Qadri Executive Magistrate graced the occasion as special guests.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by noted anchor Danish Abdullah. The cultural segment featured a mesmerizing performance of Kashmiri Rouf by the Yamerzal group, led by Shugupta Rahman. The audience was treated to a comedy skit, brought to life by the talented trio of Hassan Javid, Shabir Rizivi, and Jozia Mir. The crowd was also entertained by the mimicry skills of Kohinoor Raina.

Awards were presented to a wide array of deserving individuals, including KAS officers, professors, radio and television actors, theater directors, teachers, doctors, social workers, sports personalities, and more.

Event Manager Mohammad Lateef Bhat, who also owns Kashmir Tehalka, stated that this tradition of recognizing achievers has been ongoing since 2013 and serves as a source of motivation for those excelling in their respective fields.

Hassan Javid, the Director of FDC, expressed his gratitude to the audience for their support, and Manager Infotel Mohammad Lateef revealed that these awards were initiated in 2013 to honor individuals whose contributions have made a positive impact in their respective areas.(KNS)
