Film shootings will create employment opportunities for Kashmiri youth: Shakeel Saifee

Srinagar, Dec 06 (KNS): World Peace Harmony chairman and the owner of Saifee film productions, Shakeel Saifee on Monday said that film shootings in Kashmir will create employment opportunities for the youth of the valley.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Saifee said that they have come here to provide employment to the youth of the valley. “The shooting of movies and serials will generate employment for thousands of youth. Every youngster of Kashmir has talent and this step will boost their confidence so that they will be able to compete with the outside world.”

He said that they want to thank the people of Srinagar for giving them respect and supporting their vision. “We hope that the people will come forward so that their aspirations can be fulfilled to some extent,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bollywood actress, Simran Sachdeva, who is also on a visit to Kashmir told KNS that she has was visiting Kashmir for the fist time and the reason behind her visit is to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Kashmir.

“I have come to Kupwara along with Shakeel Saifee to recognize and foster the talent of the youth of Kashmir. This will create opportunities of employment for youth in order to lessen the growing unemployment in J&K,” she said.

She said that they are supporting the vision of Saifee as this will also lead to development of J&K.

She said that the youth of Valley have immense talent and they want to nourish their talent. “There are a lot of people working in Bollywood from Kashmir who have reached to their level by giving thousands of auditions.” 

She also said that they want to create every facility in Kashmir for the youth so that they don’t need to visit Mumbai for giving thousands of auditions for selection. 

“It is not only the artist who creates a movie or serial but there are thousands of people behind the camera whose efforts make the whole movie and serial a success,” Simran added.

She said that if only one serial or a movie would be shot in the valley, thousands of people will get benefitted as it will generate work for them. 

“I want to convey a message to the youth of the valley that never give up and have patience,”!she said.

Simran has worked in Punjabi and Hindi movies, besides also working in TV serials and her latest appearance wad in a TV serial Choti Sardarni on Colors TV. (KNS)
