Srinagar, August 27 (KNS): Ace Businessman, MD & CEO, Peaks Group of Companies S. Baldev Singh has been inducted as the State Chairperson of FADA Kashmir Chapter for the year 2022-24.
He was elected for the post unanimously in the 58th Annual General Meeting of Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) along with 307th Governing Council Meeting, a statement issued to KNS reads.
FADA is founded in 1964 and is the Apex National Body of Automobiles Retail Industry in India engaged in the sale, service and spares of 2/3 wheelers, passengers cars, UVs,
commercial vehicles including buses and trucks and tractors. FADA India represents over 15,000 automobile dealers having 26,500 dealerships including multiple associations of the automobile dealers at the Regional, State and the City levels representing the entire Auto Retail Industry.
Together, FADA employ 45 lakhs people at Auto Dealerships and Service
Centers with continuous up-skilling and re-skilling that too without displacing them from their home locations, statement reads.
Raina opened more than thirteen Maruti Showrooms in just less than 15 years is an achievement endorsed by Maruti Suzuki India Limited, it added.
The workshop launched at Akhnoor Road has been acknowledged as one of the best workshops across country by Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
He entered in Tata commercial vehicle Dealership in 2020 and expanded aggressively in different parts of Kashmir within less than 2 years.
The group has gained 40% market share in J&K. Interlaid Peaks Group has become a leading job provider in J&K and offers bread and butter for more than 5000 direct and indirect persons
associate with the group.
Vinkesh Gulati, President FADA congratulated S.Baldev Singh Raina for his appointment as
State Chairperson for Kashmir Chapter, welcomed him on Board and showed his
confidence under his leadership to drive the FADA Movement in Jammu and Kashmir.
