Srinagar 06 Janaury (KNS): People's Democratic party senior leader and Rajya sabha Member , Fayaz Mir has paid rich tributes to the party founder Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, former Chief Minister of J&K, on his fifth death anniversary.

According to KNS, Mir described Mufti Sayeed as a visionary political leader with a commitment to transform J&K into a developed and a prosperous state.

He said that the party founder was a far sighted political leader and an astute administrator who, during his two tenures as chief minister or union minister remained focussed on securing development.

On his death anniversary, Mir said that they have pledged to take his mission forward and want peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.

He also demanded immediate release of leaders and other people who are in detention(KNS).
