Srinagar, Nov 14 (KNS): Father of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday morning passed away after a brief illness at SKIMS Soura in Srinagar, family sources said here.

Family sources informed Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Syed Mohammad Iqbal Bukhari, father of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari left for the heavenly abode after a brief spell of illness at SKIMS, Soura.

They said that his funeral prayers will be held after Asr prayers at Ladoora area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Meanwhile, KNS editor-in-chief and the entire team condoled the sad demise of father of Altaf Bukhari. In a condolence message they expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
